Roadmap
As of August 2026, Merrin covers every obligation a principal carries under SUP 12, from the first screening call through to termination. What follows is the wider compliance estate, month by month. We publish the dates because a roadmap without them is marketing. We also expect to be wrong about one or two. The scope of each phase is the commitment; the week it lands is our best estimate, and if it moves you will see it move here.
Available now
Every obligation you carry as a principal under SUP 12, covered end to end. Live today, not in beta.
Initial screening
Screen a prospective AR before you commit to anything. Companies House, the FS Register and the firm's own numbers, checked in minutes rather than over three weeks of email, so you can decline early if you are going to decline at all.Onboarding and appointment
A structured onboarding process with your own internal approval gates, SMF sign-off, and AR agreements issued and executed without leaving the platform.Fit and proper
Fit and proper assessments that chase themselves. Individuals complete them in a private portal, and the identity documents they submit sit apart from the rest of the AR record, visible only to those who need them.Annual reviews and attestations
Reviews and attestations run end to end without anyone on your team sending a reminder. Evidence accrues through the year, so the review becomes a decision to make rather than a file to build.Live risk analysis
Signals from Companies House, the FS Register and other public sources raise an alert the day a director, filing or permission moves. You find out that week, not at the next annual review.FCA filing tracking
Every Connect submission and regulatory notification tracked from draft through to acceptance, with the deadline visible well before it becomes a late notification.Compliance scoring
A score for each AR and one for the network, so the board question about how compliant we are has a page behind it rather than a pause.Termination and offboarding
A structured offboarding workflow with the post-termination checks on websites, promotions and the FS Register recorded as they are completed. This is the stage firms most often skip and the one supervisors most often ask about.Records and evidence
Every document, decision and check in one place with expiry tracking, ready to export as an evidence pack for any period.

Complaints, and the helpdesks your complaints already sit in.
Complaints handling
Complaints logged, triaged and tracked against DISP timescales, with live SLA timers and FOS referrals followed through to a decision.Complaints integrations
A link to Freshdesk and the other helpdesks your ARs already run on, so complaints reach Merrin without anyone rekeying them.Root cause and trends
Complaint volumes and outcomes feeding each AR's compliance score, so a pattern surfaces long before it becomes a thematic problem.
Shipping December 2026
The promotions going out and the numbers coming back.
Financial promotions
Collect promotions from across the network, review them against COBS 4, and keep a complete archive of every approval, amendment and withdrawal.Promotion data
Structured promotion data captured from every AR on a schedule, so the figures behind your regulatory returns are already assembled.Financials
Management accounts, capital adequacy and solvency captured on a cycle you set, with trends visible across the network rather than filed and forgotten.
Early 2027
Conduct at the level of the individual, plus the rest of your stack.
Personal account dealing
Personal account dealing registers, pre-approvals and breach records for the individuals inside your ARs, aligned to COBS 11.7 and 11.7A.Investment conduct records
Conflicts of interest, inducements and gifts and hospitality kept alongside the dealing register, so conduct at the individual level is one view rather than four.Wider integrations
Connect Merrin to your HR system, e-signature provider and internal tools, with an API for the things we have not thought of.
For Large Network customers
Shape the roadmap.
Large Network customers have a standing say in what we build next: quarterly roadmap sessions, early access to new modules, and custom integrations where they genuinely matter to you. Several items above are on this list because a customer asked.
